The Sharenet Group is interested in helping small organizations realize their ambitions on the web for a fair price regardless of their level of technical acumen. Our approach to web site development is client-centered from start to finish. Taking a lesson from the educational institutions we serve, we’ve come to recognize that the most valuable, creative work derives from dynamic human communication.
As such our site development process is one which stresses continual interaction between designers and clients in a manner that is straightforward, comfortable and jargon-free. Clients may have a very specific outline of what they want or just some basic notions. In either case our goal is to help them to imagine, clarify, and hone their vision so as to better realize it.
We believe that first and foremost web designers should conceive of themselves as translators - translating people’s creative and organizational desires into functional technical realities. Our goal is to brainstorm with you about what your web-site could be and, from there, develop content and an appropriate aesthetic to make it so. We find that the best way to do this is through a process of progressive interaction wherein the client provides ideas, the designers extend and develop them and the client further sculpts them via their feedback.
In addition to web design our services include content creation and editing, translation of pre-existing texts to web format, logo creation and enhancement, image scanning and manipulation, database connectivity, multimedia development, and icon, clip-art and animation research, procurement and augmentation.
If necessary, we can research and contract appropriate web hosting services for your site. Arrangements can also be made to schedule periodic updates and revisions of your web site’s content and graphics, or to train your staff to maintain it themselves.

You'll notice that our site does not contain an itemized price list. But don't worry, this is not in the vein of expensive restaurants that consider it tacky to show how expensive their meals are! We're interested in offering affordable rates to our clients because we care about what they do and we know what it's like to be where they are.
We think it's impossible to talk about pricing without talking about the nature of the individual project - sometimes a site with many simple pages will cost less than a site with fewer pages that demand complex programming, in some cases the work can be done for a flat rate and for others an hourly rate is more appropriate.
